Simon has produced some Totara post tealight holders, especially for mothers’ day.
We’re excited to have a variety of wooden and wax pieces in an exhibition at Journey in Whangarei. Journey is situated at 19B Bank Street near the corner of Bank and Water Streets.
Sarah will be displaying some of her stunning luminaries and beeswax candles and Simon has put together a series of pieces turned from old totara fence posts. He’s kept the weathered surface of the posts and turned through these to bring to life the beautiful deep red grain of the totara. We’ve combined to produce a number of candle holders from recycled kauri and rimu, with beeswax pillar candles in gorgeous colours. You choose the combination you like.
Come and have a look at our work and the work of other craftspeople. The Exhibition is called The Upcyclers and Repurposers of Whangarei. A mixture of mediums and personalities are coming together to boost Whangarei’s local sustainable creative movement.
All works will be displayed and will be available for sale from opening night on Friday 30th Oct through the following week.
