Please contact us.Handcrafted from Swamp Kauri from Waipapa (near Kerikeri), this bowl reveals the interesting grain and beautiful yellow, brown and green colours of one of our most treasured woods.
Careful design, high quality turning and a very smooth finish make this bowl a delight to pick up, look at and caress. Give it pride of place on your dining room table, mantle piece, dresser or wherever and it will immediately be a talking point. However, it’s also designed to be functional and is ideal as a fruit bowl, or for potato chips, salads or serving up veges. Alternatively fill it with potpourri or your bathroom accoutrements.
This Large Swamp Kauri bowl is finished with a natural beeswax polish that we make ourselves from wax from our own hives. This nourishes the wood and seals out moisture.
